Recently, some customers gave feedbacks that it turned to blue screen when use GM MDI GDS tech2 Win software HDD. Here share one customer’s related problem and offer the solution from obdiitool.co.uk.
Customer problem:
I have just swapped gm mdi hard drive into another laptop and it does exactly the same. Windows cannot boot up at all, it just appears blue screen with some information pop up as shown in the picture below.

The compatibility of this GM MDI HDD is not very strong, so it may cause blue screen error when booting.
Please use the computer with the following requirements:
1.The computer format: AHCI
2.CPU: Intel
- The computer should not be too old.
- The second hand D630 cannot be used with this HDD.
