The test:
1.KTM BENCH 3 IN 1 Read& Program VW Passat ECM
It’s Passat ECM.
Connect KTM BENCH 3 IN 1 to ECM, and connect to computer via USB cable
Insert the KTM 1.20 dongle into computer
Then run PCMflash software
Select ECU- [71] MEDC17 (TC1724/1728/1767/1782/1784/1797) FLASH
Click ‘Identification’ to identify the ECU info
Confirm to use automatic power control (L-line)
The ECU identified is TC1767
Click ‘Read’ to read ECU (it takes about 2 minutes)
Confirm to use automatic power control (L-line)
Save the data info after reading
Completed successfully
Select ECU- [71] MEDC17 (TC1724/1728/1767/1782/1784/1797) EEPROM
Click ‘Read’ to read ECU (it takes about 6 sec)
Confirm to use automatic power control (L-line)
Perform successfully
Save the file
2.KTM BENCH 3 IN 1 Read& Program VW Jetta ECM
It’s Jetta ECM.
Make sure all devices are connected correctly
Operate with the same steps as the guide on VW Passat
Read FLASH and EEPOM data successfully
